Job Responsibilities
- Design web applications, mobile apps, and websites with a focus on clean, user-friendly, and responsive interfaces across all devices.
- Collaborate with development teams to design user-friendly, visually consistent interfaces for WordPress and Shopify plugins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design supporting UI components and visual assets that maintain consistency across digital products and related platforms.
- Understand the product, market, and users to identify UX opportunities and deliver effective solutions using user personas, journeys, and research insights.
- Ensure consistency across design language, brand, and platform architecture, while continuously improving best practices.
- Own the end-to-end design process, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executives, to align on goals and solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from small tasks to large-scale initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Primary Requirements
- Confident using Figma for everything from wireframes to final prototypes, with organized, shareable files.
- Skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator, especially for visual design and illustration work when needed.
- A good handle on typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy, with strong attention to detail.
- Drawing skills and an artistic eye are a big plus but not mandatory, especially if you enjoy visual storytelling or illustration.
- Experience working within a design system and knowing when to stick to it and when to improve it.
- Comfortable writing basic design requirements to keep everyone on the same page.
- Working efficiently and managing timelines without needing reminders.
