Jr. SEO Specialist

Axilweb marketing team has an opening for a Jr. SEO Specialist role.

We need you if you can blend technical know-how with strategic thinking to drive organic growth. You'll optimize our digital assets, monitor performance trends, and adapt strategies based on the latest algorithm updates and advancements in AI search. 

This role is for you if you have foundational SEO knowledge, you enjoy digging into data, and you want to master tools that deliver a competitive advantage. 

• Implement SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility and improve rankings.
• Conduct keyword research & clustering using modern SEO and AI tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, SurferSEO, etc).
• Optimize titles, meta descriptions, content, schema markup, and internal linking for search intent, AI Overviews, and user engagement.
• Assist in content planning with E-E-A-T & topic authority frameworks.
• Perform technical SEO audits (Core Web Vitals, site speed, crawlability, mobile UX, site architecture).
• Manage and optimize for Local SEO (Google Business Profile, citations, maps, reviews).
• Collaborate with content writers, developers, and designers to ensure SEO-friendly execution.
• Analyze performance using GA4, Search Console, and Looker Studio dashboards.
• Track competitors across organic, local, and AI search engines to identify new growth opportunities.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm changes, SERP features, AI Overviews/AI Mode, and SEO automation trends.

• Proficiency with tools: GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, SurferSEO, Screaming Frog.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, structured data, site architecture, and crawl optimization.
• Strong skills in keyword intent research, content optimization, and authority-building strategies.
• Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Strong analytical ability with Google Sheets/Excel and handling large datasets.
• Experience with GTM, Looker Studio, and AI-powered SEO tools & generative AI assistants (ChatGPT, Jasper, Gemini, etc.).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
